La Marca Del Jaguar: El Despertar Del Fuego

The sun is fading. Mictlán is waiting. And the warrior chosen to save everyone is the one his own people refuse to accept.

Xilacatzin was born with the Mark of the Jaguar, a symbol on his skin that others see as a sign of darkness. Although he is a gifted young warrior, suspicion and rejection have followed him his entire life. When the Fifth Sun begins to die, Xilacatzin must descend into the realm of the dead and recover the New Fire before darkness consumes the human world.

Guided by his mentor Yaotecatzin and joined by a wonderfully unlikely group of companions, Xilacatzin faces mythical creatures, impossible trials, and the fearsome goddess Itzpapálotl. Yet the most difficult battle is the one he has carried within himself: before he can save his people, he must stop fighting the mark that makes him different.

Bursting with vibrant 2D animation, action, humor, magic, and imagery inspired by Mexica history and cosmology, La marca del jaguar: El despertar del fuego transforms an epic journey through the underworld into a moving adventure about identity, belonging, and the courage to embrace every part of who we are.
