For Martín, his mother’s wedding is not a celebration. It is the return of Juan—the bully who made his childhood hell, now smiling across the family table as though twenty-five years of humiliation were ancient history.
Martín tries to stop the marriage by reasonable means. They get him nowhere. So he recruits his best friend Charlie and launches a revenge scheme so indecently specific it could only make sense to a wounded son: seduce the mother of his future stepfather and destroy the wedding from the inside. What follows is a rapidly escalating chain reaction of bruised egos, terrible judgment, family secrets, and comic collateral damage.
Written and directed by Max del Río, A Toda Madre is a gleefully shameless Mexican comedy that uses a Freudian revenge fantasy to poke at old wounds, grown men behaving like children, and the radical idea that mothers have desires and choices of their own. Led by Cojo Feliz and Ricardo Pérez, its multigenerational ensemble keeps the farce moving at full speed without losing sight of the emotional war beneath the wedding decorations.

Para Martín, la boda de su mamá no es motivo de celebración. Es el regreso de Juan, el bully que le hizo la infancia imposible y que ahora sonríe frente a toda la familia como si veinticinco años de humillaciones fueran cosa del pasado.
Martín intenta detener el matrimonio por las buenas. No funciona. Así que recluta a Charlie, su mejor amigo, y pone en marcha un plan de venganza tan indecentemente específico que solo podría tener sentido para un hijo resentido: seducir a la madre de su futuro padrastro y destruir la boda desde adentro. Escrita y dirigida por Max del Río, A Toda Madre es una comedia mexicana descaradamente irreverente que convierte una fantasía freudiana de venganza en una exploración de viejas heridas, hombres adultos comportándose como niños y esa idea radical de que las madres también tienen deseos y decisiones propias. Encabezado por Hugo El Cojo Feliz y Ricardo Pérez, su elenco multigeneracional mantiene la farsa avanzando a toda velocidad sin perder de vista la guerra emocional escondida debajo de las decoraciones de boda.

Director and Writer
Max del Río is a filmmaker, screenwriter, editor, and comedian from Campeche, Mexico. He began making comedy videos with his family as a child and later studied cinematography before leaving the classroom to continue learning on film sets.
His independent feature La Película, created during the pandemic with friends and local collaborators, received the Audience Award at the comedy film festival 24 Risas x Segundo and later reached theaters across Mexico. In 2024, del Río received awards for Best Director, Best Short Film, and Best Production at the 48 Film Project Mexico. His work is rooted in independent filmmaking, irreverent comedy, and stories in which friendship and family affection survive even the most questionable decisions.
With A Toda Madre, del Río turns a son’s bruised pride into a full-scale family war, balancing broad comedy with a surprisingly affectionate defense of mothers who refuse to ask permission before living their own lives.
Max del Río es un cineasta, guionista, editor y comediante originario de Campeche, México. Comenzó a grabar videos de comedia con su familia desde niño y más tarde estudió cinematografía antes de dejar las aulas para continuar su formación directamente en los sets.
Su largometraje independiente La Película, realizado durante la pandemia junto a amigos y colaboradores locales, recibió el Premio del Público en el festival de cine y comedia 24 Risas x Segundo y posteriormente llegó a salas de todo México. En 2024, del Río obtuvo los premios a Mejor Director, Mejor Cortometraje y Mejor Producción en el 48 Film Project Mexico. Su trabajo nace del cine independiente, la comedia irreverente y las historias donde el cariño entre amigos y familiares sobrevive hasta las decisiones más cuestionables.
Con A Toda Madre, del Río convierte el orgullo herido de un hijo en una guerra familiar de grandes proporciones, equilibrando la comedia desbordada con una defensa inesperadamente afectuosa de las madres que se niegan a pedir permiso para vivir su propia vida.
