At 45, Juana has spent more than a decade surviving through silence. Her days have narrowed to an unfulfilling job at the Siglo XXI newspaper, visits with her mother in a nursing home, and the daily effort of keeping her panic attacks under control. Then an assignment brings back a name she thought she had buried: Pedro Núñez, a corrupt politician connected to a criminal network and to the murders of her boyfriend and a fellow journalist.

Returning to the investigation means confronting far more than a powerful man. It forces Juana into the memories, wounds, and compromises that have shaped her life.

Sostenida por una interpretación visceral e impredecible de Diana Sedano, Juana acompaña a una mujer que comienza a comprender el precio de guardar silencio y se pregunta si mirar de frente la verdad puede ser también una manera de recuperarse.

A sus 45 años, Juana lleva más de una década sobreviviendo a través del silencio. Sus días transcurren entre un trabajo que ya no la satisface en el periódico Siglo XXI, las visitas a su madre en un asilo y el esfuerzo cotidiano por mantener bajo control sus ataques de pánico. Entonces, una asignación devuelve a su vida un nombre que creía enterrado: Pedro Núñez, un político corrupto vinculado con una red criminal y con los asesinatos de su novio y de un compañero periodista.

Retomar la investigación significa enfrentarse a mucho más que a un hombre poderoso. Juana tendrá que entrar de nuevo en los recuerdos, las heridas y las renuncias que han marcado su vida.
