Bloomhouse Pictures debuts their first ever Mexican production with No Me Sigas.

Carla knows exactly what her followers want: proof that the abandoned building she just moved into is haunted. If the ghosts will not cooperate, she can always fake them.

With help from her charismatic friend Sam and her crush Andrés, Carla begins staging rituals, ghostly apparitions, and paranormal encounters for her channel. The performances work. Her audience grows, the views climb, and the popularity she has been chasing finally feels within reach.

Then something appears that was never part of the plan.

Convinced that a real presence now inhabits her apartment, but unable to walk away from the attention, Carla keeps filming as the entity’s hold becomes increasingly violent. Every scream can become content, every warning can be mistaken for engagement, and the line between a performance and a genuine cry for help begins to disappear. Her search for answers leads toward an ancient cult, a history of black magic, and a connection between Carla and the building that may have been waiting for her all along.

Directed by siblings Ximena García Lecuona and Eduardo Lecuona, Don’t Follow Me pulls influencer culture into the shadows of Mexico City folklore, blending supernatural horror with found-footage and screenlife storytelling. Beneath the scares lies an unnervingly modern fear: when your entire life becomes a performance, even possession can look like part of the show.

Debajo de los sustos habita un miedo profundamente contemporáneo: cuando toda tu vida se convierte en una representación, hasta una posesión puede parecer parte del espectáculo.
